Hanns Fischer Family Collection
The Hanns Fischer family collection includes correspondence of Hanns and Ellen Fischer in Bolivia with their daughters Marianne and Konstanze in Berkhamsted, England, where they had gone by Kindertransport. Also included are the memoirs of Ellen and Konstanze as well as of Hanns’s brother Rudolph; poems, genealogy tables and some photography. A few letters exchanged between Hanns Fischer and Thomas Mann and Karl Jaspers can be found among other professional and personal correspondence.
Heinrich Eduard Jacob Collection
Folder one contains a variety of personal certificates and documents belonging to Heinrich and Dora Jacob, including documents related to his arrest, deportation, and emigration from Vienna and arrival in the United States in 1939. There are also a number of letters from prominent literary and cultural figures such as Thomas Mann, Max Brod, Hugo von Hoffmansthal, and Stefan Zweig.

The collection of author and translator Paul Amann (Prague, 1884 – Connecticut, 1958) contains both personal and professional correspondence and manuscripts. The manuscripts include novels, essays and short stories as well as nonfiction works, translations and one folder of poetry. The collection also contains personal papers and a folder of material from third parties.
Paul Steiner Collection
This collection comprises Paul Steiner's diaries and notebooks compiled in 1926-1945. It prominently features manuscripts of his writing, which consists of essays with philosophical or political content, short stories, plays and poetry. In addition, the collection holds drafts of letters to Thomas Mann and a few issues of the 'Kulturelle Schriftenreihe des Free Austrian Movement' (Cultural Series of the Free Austrian Movement).
