Wormser family

This collection contains the genealogical research of Elizabeth Strauss Plaut. Papers to be found here include extensive correspondence, family trees, and research notes on the genealogy of the Plaut and Strauss families.

This collection contains family trees, memoirs, and short narrative chronicles pertaining to the history of the Asher, Eller, Schüler, and Wormser families. In addition, there are several photocopies of family portrait photographs, as well as a few photocopies of letters sent by Else Lasker-Schüler to family members.

This collection contains a wide variety of genealogical research materials, especially family trees, as well as photocopied and original family documents, on the both the Plaut family and other families, all assembled by Elizabeth Strauss Plaut.

The collection contains personal papers and belongings, photographs, and genealogical information regarding the Wormser family. To a large extent, the collection concerns the descendants of Heumann and Jette Wormser’s son Sigmund Wormser and his wife Fransika Wormser as well as their respective families.
