Manuscript and newsletters detailing genealogical history and contemporary events of Samuel family.

Contains copies of the family bibles (Leeser edition and Bible Association of Friends in America) in which are recorded the births, marriages and deaths of David Samuel and his son, John Samuel, and their descendants. Newspaper clippings and announcement of family deaths and marriages are also found in each volume.

Collection consists of genealogies of several families: the Phillips family, descended from Phineas (Pinchas) Phillips of Bohemia; the Moss-Harris family of Samuel Lyons Moss and his wife Isabelle (Harris) Moss; the Nathan family, descended from Nathan Nathan of Amsterdam; the Samuel family (an expansion based on an original 1912 volume by J. Bunford Samuel called Records of the Samuel family); the Lopez-Moses family, descended from David Lopez and Priscilla Moses; and the De Leon-Hendricks family, descended from Jacob De Leon and Hannah Hendricks.
