Ernest and Elise Marx Family Collection
This collection contains materials pertaining to the Marx family in Frankfurt am Main prior, during and shortly after World War II. The collection documents the lives of Elise Marx and her two children, Hans and Claire, in correspondence to Ernest while he is in Egypt. Materials in this collection are primarily letters, along with some professional and legal documents.
Eugen Neter collection
The collection contains contains various materials pertaining to Eugen (Yitzhak) Neter, collected by Shlomo Marcus.
John H. E. Fried Collection
The John H. E. Fried Collection contains legal briefs prepared by Fried as a legal consultant to the Nuremberg Tribunal. Manuscripts, legal briefs, clippings, offprints, and memoranda by Fried, Justice Robert Jackson, John J. McCloy and others, cover a range of topics including war crimes, National Socialism, international law, and human rights. The collection contains proceedings of war crimes trials, in particular those of the Nuremberg Tribunal. Also of interest are drafts and research notes by Fried for books on human rights and international justice.
Max Buxpan Collection
The Max Buxpan Collection sketches the biography of Max Buxpan and his family. The collection centers on the correspondence of Buxpan family members and associated friends. Most of these documents date from the 1930s until the 1960s, including the time of immigration. Buxpan also collected a lot of material about the First and Second World Wars and the immediate periods thereafter, primarily postcards and newspaper articles.
Rudolf Apt Collection
Bulk of collection consists of correspondences and short manuscripts by members of the Dresden Jewish community of personal accounts of war experience. Lists and index cards describing the fate of Jews from Dresden also included.
Siegfried Altmann Collection
The Siegfried Altmann Collection contains primarily his correspondence with various luminaries and other personalities, the International Red Cross, as well as materials pertaining to the Jewish Institute for the Blind in Hohe Warte, Vienna. Documents consist of a guestbook, a manuscript, articles, an obituary, autographs, and correspondence.
