Jewish Theater Collection
Scope and Content Note
This collection contains posters, programs, and newspaper reviews for performances of Jewish theater in cities in Germany, Austria, and Lithuania, including theater produced by and about displaced persons in post-World War II Germany.
Also included is a file of clippings dating from the interwar period (1917-1934). The oldest programs also date approximately to this period, but the bulk of the programs are from productions staged shortly after World War II. Mixed in with the programs are a few tickets, trade papers, invitations, and smaller posters.
